About The Position

Provides advanced technical leadership for complex implementations of Panasonic manufacturing software systems (PanaCIM, iLNB, DGS). Leads installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting while mentoring engineers and ensuring complete documentation and adherence to standard procedures. Promotes continuous improvement and knowledge sharing to enhance quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering required; equivalent professional experience (typically 2 years of relevant experience for every 1 year of required education) and advanced technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA Linux+, Network+, or ASQ CSQE) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5–8 years of experience in software implementation or manufacturing IT.
  • Expert in Linux (Ubuntu), Docker, Kubernetes, SQL/PostgreSQL, and enterprise networking.
  • CompTIA Linux+ and Network+ required or in progress.
  • Highly skilled in troubleshooting, leadership, and project coordination.
  • Drives standardization, documentation excellence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong initiative and ownership of project outcomes.
  • Communicates effectively across all organizational levels and customers.
  • Documents and presents complex issues and solutions clearly.
  • Capable of lifting over 50 lbs (22.7 kg), standing for long periods on factory floors, and maneuvering in factory production environments and confined spaces to execute technical activities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (often 95 % or greater), domestically and internationally, often with very short notice, with flexible work hours, including non-standard business hours, weekends, and occasional holidays, as may be necessary to meet customer project schedules and demands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-server and multi-factory deployments of PanaCIM, iLNB, DGS, and supporting systems from planning through acceptance.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across software, network, and database layers.
  • Configure and optimize Docker and Kubernetes environments for these applications.
  • Maintain detailed customer documentation including network diagrams, HostIDs, licenses, and system configurations.
  • Develop internal and external guides for specialized configurations or customer enhancements.
  • Mentor engineers on implementation standards and technical troubleshooting.
  • Serve as an escalation point for TAC and customer technical issues.
  • Collaborate with Development for bug resolution and software improvement validation.
  • Participate in pre-sales scoping, audits, and design reviews for Panasonic software solutions.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve project quality and reduce cycle times.
  • Identify and standardize best practices across global implementations.
  • Participate in exhibitions and demonstrations of equipment at trade shows, PA demo room, or customer sites, informing customers and responding to technical and specification questions and concerns.
  • Identify sales opportunities and inform Sales as appropriate.
  • Support team development, documentation improvement, and internal training programs.
