Sr. Software Engineer
About The Position
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join their team. This role involves performing design, development, coding, testing, research, programming, and documentation for software systems, applications, and/or operating systems in conjunction with equipment designers and/or hardware developers. The engineer will also be responsible for modeling, designing, and coding activities using structured methods, preparing design documentation, and creating and executing various test plans and scripts. The position requires analyzing software requirements to determine design feasibility within quality assurance, time, and cost constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree + 5 years experience or Masters degree + 3 years experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform design, development, coding, testing, research, programming and documentation for software systems, applications and/or operating systems in conjunction with equipment designers and/or hardware developers.
- Perform modeling, designing, and coding activities, employing structured methods.
- Prepare design documentation for all levels of the software development process.
- Create and execute unit, integration, system, regression, performance, load and acceptance test plans and scripts.
- Use software system testing procedures, and document results.
- Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within quality assurance, time and cost constraints.
