About The Position

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 4 years of development experience required.
  • 4 years with: gathering requirements; producing functional and technical specifications; evaluating existing and latest technologies; designing and conducting unit system and integration tests; training external users and creating training materials.
  • Knowledge of C#; MVC; Entity Framework; ASP.NET; forms; Web APIs; SQL: DB and table design, PL/SQL, stored procedures and functions; deploying and maintaining application on server; JavaScript; JQuery; XML; JSON.
  • Experience as being employed in a Senior/Management role.
  • Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements, produce functional and technical specifications, verify feasibility and develops project plans and estimates.
  • Ensures that design fits into current environment and is scalable to future initiatives. Works with DBA on database design and architecture.
  • Performs full life-cycle development assignments, including functional and technical design for new applications and enhancements, full stack development, performance and end-to-end testing, implementation, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Design and conduct unit system and integration testing.
  • Develops user interfaces, backend web applications, console jobs for batch processing, and database structures, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Mentors other developers.
