About The Position

Broadridge is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop dependable software that supports essential business activity. The role connects business needs with reliable software solutions and involves developing, testing, debugging, and implementing applications and systems. The engineer will analyze project requirements, define technical specifications, conduct testing, resolve reported defects, document systems and code, and train end users as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience.
At least 3 years of experience in a programming and applications systems environment, including SQL and Java.
Experience with Java, SQL, PL/SQL or PSQL, Python, Windows, Linux, Oracle, Postgres, Snowflake, GitLab, and Jenkins.
Experience with SDLC development methodologies, including Agile.
Experience mentoring members of development teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AI tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, debug, and implement code for existing and/or new applications and systems.
Analyze project requirements and develop technical specifications.
Perform unit and systems testing of applications and solutions.
Work with users and QA to conduct quality assurance testing and resolve reported defects and issues.
Use product specifications to build system documentation and train end users as required.
Maintain procedural and code documentation for assigned projects.
Assist with defining project requirements.
Mentor members of development teams.
