About The Position

The Sr. Software Engineer designs and develops large-scale enterprise software and technology in support of Inspire Brands’ digital platforms. The role supports marketing and brand needs across Inspire Brands by delivering interactive and innovative guest technology. It focuses on building and scaling consumer product features and mobile architecture, creating responsive user interfaces, and delivering scalable, resilient applications.

Requirements

• A four-year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience developing React Native applications, or a combination of React Native and Android or iOS mobile software applications.
• At least 6 years of experience developing with leading front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or React Native.
• At least 6 years of experience delivering scalable and resilient applications at large enterprise scale.
• Expertise in TypeScript.
• Expertise in unit testing and testing frameworks.
• Agile SDLC experience.
• Experience with Node.js.
• A thorough understanding of mobile applications and standards.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Experience working with REST-based services.
• Experience with application monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, release, and scale new and existing consumer product features and mobile architecture.
• Work with design teams on modern user interfaces.
• Conduct quality assurance on new code in collaboration with others.
• Mentor junior app developers.
• Build dynamic, low-latency, responsive, real-time user interfaces.
• Understand and translate business and technical requirements for a team of developers.
• Find solutions to performance and user-interface limitations in React Native.
