Sr. Software Engineer (Starlink)

SpaceX•Redmond, WA

About The Position

As a Sr. Software Engineer on the Starlink Enterprise Products team, you will define, build, and deploy product features and capabilities that advance global connectivity. Your software will support applications and environments across aviation, maritime, transportation, healthcare, remote communities, research operations, media broadcast, datacenters, and other areas. The role calls for a technically excellent, first-principles problem solver who is self-starting and motivated to make systems work in high-impact situations. You will develop reliable real-time software for network switches, servers, ground antennas, and satellites, and own its impact throughout the software lifecycle—from architecture and implementation through testing and support. The role also includes incorporating deployment learnings, building tools for testing and system monitoring, prototyping and managing experiments, and developing networking technologies for directing data through a changing network of satellites, ground stations, and users.
