About The Position

As a Software Engineer on the Starlink Enterprise Products team, you will define, build, and deploy product features and capabilities that advance global connectivity. The software can have an impact across aviation, maritime, transportation, healthcare, remote communities, research operations, media broadcast, datacenters, and other areas. The role calls for a technically excellent, first-principles problem solver who is a self-starter and is motivated to make systems work in high-impact situations. You will develop highly reliable real-time software for network switches, servers, ground antennas, and satellites; own software throughout its lifecycle; build tools and prototypes; and help develop networking technologies for routing data across a changing network of satellites, ground stations, and users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop highly reliable real-time software for network switches, servers, ground antennas, and satellites to optimize network performance for demanding applications and environments.
  • Own the impact of software over its complete lifecycle, including architecture design, implementation, testing, and support; apply learnings from real-world deployments to improve it continually.
  • Develop tools to support testing, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of dependent systems.
  • Build prototypes and manage experiments to validate key design concepts.
  • Innovate networking technologies to direct data through an evolving network of satellites, ground stations, and users.

Benefits
