About The Position

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Research Engineering Team! Addepar has an unrivaled financial dataset and as an engineer on our team, you’ll collaborate with financial researchers to design, build and optimize the next generation Research Platform. From Big data in Databricks to web apps and everything in between you’ll help us build an AI-first platform to empower researchers and accelerate discoveries. We’re a small but growing team of high performers in the US and UK.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
At least six years of experience
Full-stack engineer – you can tackle any problem
Experience with most or all of: Python, PySpark, Databricks, AWS & AI/ML
Self-aware, self-starter who values having impact
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.

Responsibilities

Full stack engineering; including Python, Databricks, Java and web
Design, architect, prototype, develop, release, iterate and monitor – the full software lifecycle
Build new things and improve old things – no task is too big or small
Collaborate with Researchers and Product Managers to build a next-gen platform
Have fun working with a great team of high performers
