Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Richardson, TX: Sr. Software Development Engineer to design and develop digital software applications and platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • Four (4) years of experience with Resolving AS400 application support tickets
  • Four (4) years of experience with Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code
  • Four (4) years of experience with Software development lifecycle
  • Four (4) years of experience with Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
  • Four (4) years of experience with Web and mobile applications development
  • Four (4) years of experience with Unit and automation testing
  • Four (4) years of experience with QA and UAT testing
  • Four (4) years of experience with .NET applications
  • Four (4) years of experience with AS400 i-Series and Salesforce
  • Four (4) years of experience with RPGLE, ILE RPG, CL/400, or SYNON COOL 2E
  • Four (4) years of experience with Managing internal applications, data transfers, and integrations with third-party services

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements
  • Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation
  • Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing
  • Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
  • Mentor junior team members
