CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Software Development Engineer to design and develop digital software applications and platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Five (5) years of experience with Typescript or objected-oriented JavaScript
- Five (5) years of experience with XML, JSON, HTML, or CSS
- Five (5) years of experience with Angular, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone
- Five (5) years of experience with C#, MVC, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework
- Five (5) years of experience with PL/SQL
- Five (5) years of experience with SSIS
- Five (5) years of experience with GitHub or TFS
- Five (5) years of experience with Application design and analysis of legacy systems
- Five (5) years of experience with Development and testing projects
- Five (5) years of experience with Migration for applications
Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements
- Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation
- Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing
- Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
- Mentor junior team members
