Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Richardson, TX: Sr Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions.

Requirements

  • Frameworks: Angular, Spring Boot, and Jest
  • Angular 16+ and TypeScript
  • RxJS and Observable patterns
  • Angular CLI, Standalone Components, and Dependency Injection
  • State management (NgRx)
  • Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript
  • HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, XML, JSON, and REST
  • Oracle 12c database
  • Version control (Git)
  • Product management in a large, matrixed organization with many internal partners
  • Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases
  • Healthcare data management processes and techniques, including data standards, interoperability, and proper data privacy
  • Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives
  • Web application and Mobile application development using Ionic
  • Project Management tools such as Jira, Rally and Confluence

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements
  • Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation
  • Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing
  • Develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes
  • Participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD
  • Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
  • Mentor junior team members
