Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Richardson, TX: Sr Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions.
Requirements
- Frameworks: Angular, Spring Boot, and Jest
- Angular 16+ and TypeScript
- RxJS and Observable patterns
- Angular CLI, Standalone Components, and Dependency Injection
- State management (NgRx)
- Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript
- HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, XML, JSON, and REST
- Oracle 12c database
- Version control (Git)
- Product management in a large, matrixed organization with many internal partners
- Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases
- Healthcare data management processes and techniques, including data standards, interoperability, and proper data privacy
- Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives
- Web application and Mobile application development using Ionic
- Project Management tools such as Jira, Rally and Confluence
Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements
- Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation
- Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing
- Develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes
- Participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD
- Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
- Mentor junior team members
