This hybrid role combines hands-on software development with practical data science. You will play a key role in defining approaches to adaptive forecasting and anomaly detection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 8 - 10 years of experience in software engineering, pipeline development or data science roles.
  • Experience in data architecture; designed and developed data pipelines, with Azure Data Factory, ApacheSpark, and Scala.
  • Experience in data transformation
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java / Spring, Python)
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering tools (e.g., Airflow, Spark, Pandas).
  • Solid software engineering skills (Java, Spring, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps)
  • Experience with time series forecasting (ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM, etc.) and anomaly detection techniques.
  • Knowledge of business operations, supply chain, or EDI systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Worked with medallion-architecture data warehouse or other data warehousing

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement forecasting models to predict trends in transactional EDI and ERP data (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, shipments).
  • Develop anomaly detection algorithms to identify irregularities in data flows, system behavior, and business processes.
  • Data modeling
  • Apply statistical, machine learning, and deep learning techniques to large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets.
  • Translate your ideas into commercial software solving customer problems.
  • Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy and reliability.
  • Document and communicate findings, methodologies, and system designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
