  • Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or internship experience.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and/or test electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing, employing knowledge of electronic theory.
  • Perform definition, design, verification, and/or documentation for ASIC, SOC development.
  • Determine architecture design, logic design, and/or system simulation.
  • Architect verification environments for IP and SOC level test benches using UVM verification methodology which uses constrain random verification techniques in System Verilog.
  • Work on verification of Ips involving complex protocols such as PCIe, AXI.
  • Work with design team on code coverage and functional coverage closure.
  • Use scripts in Python for productivity enhancements.
  • Define module interfaces/formats for simulation.
  • Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Under supervision, exercise limited judgment within defined company procedures and practices to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various company products.
