Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • One (1) year of experience in job offered or closely related engineering role.
  • Logic and circuit design
  • RTL Design and coding
  • Functional verification of microprocessors
  • ASIC Design tools (synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, and static timing analysis)
  • Design flows and methodologies used for chip verification
  • Physical design of deep submicron digital ASIC chips
  • Back-End (physical design) EDA tools
  • Front-End EDA tools

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, verify, and create documentation for ASIC development.
  • Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
  • Define module interfaces/formats for simulation.
  • Contribute to the development of multi-dimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
  • Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route and timing and power use.
  • Analyze equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
  • Review vendor capability to support development.
  • Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various company products.
