About The Position

NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a Sr. SharePoint Developer to support a Federal Program in Springfield, VA. This is a direct-hire role with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator. An active Top-Secret Clearance is required, client will sponsor for CI Polygraph (you can begin prior to its completion). The role involves supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal and external SharePoint sites, improving visual design, layout, branding, and usability. The developer will create and maintain visually compelling digital products, provide graphic design and publishing support, and collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to enhance organizational content and user-facing products. The position requires applying modern design principles for readability and accessibility, supporting SharePoint branding and customization using front-end technologies, and translating complex information into visually effective content.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications.
3–5 years of experience with SharePoint 2019 or SharePoint SE.
Experience creating and customizing SharePoint workflows in SharePoint Designer.
Experience creating customized InfoPath forms.
Experience building and supporting all aspects of SharePoint, including sites, site collections, master pages, templates, web parts, content types and policies, lists, libraries, workflows, authentication, security groups, permissions, and customizations.
Familiarity with third-party SharePoint applications.
Experience with SharePoint templates, customization, branding, and web development, including HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, CAML, and JavaScript.
Strong SharePoint troubleshooting skills.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Strong user interaction, requirements gathering, and business analysis skills.
Understanding of SharePoint business intelligence capabilities.
Understanding of PKI infrastructure and certificates.
Experience with PowerShell SharePoint module and scripting.
Experience with SharePoint application architecture and information management.
Experience using SharePoint for document management and website publishing.
Experience in graphic design, visual communications, page layout, branding, and publication support.
Experience creating infographics, charts, dashboards, and other visual products for executive or organizational audiences.
Ability to balance technical SharePoint development with business-facing design and publishing requirements.
An active Top-Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal and external SharePoint sites.
Improve the visual design, layout, branding, and usability of SharePoint pages and published content.
Create and maintain visually compelling digital products that improve information sharing and user engagement.
Provide graphic design, publishing, and media support for a wide variety of materials, including layouts, illustrations, charts, graphs, logos, infographics, and photos.
Create and edit visual content for strategic plans, leadership briefs, training materials, outreach products, and general information pages.
Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to enhance organizational content, reports, briefs, dashboards, and other user-facing products.
Apply modern design principles to improve readability, accessibility, consistency, and overall presentation across SharePoint-hosted content.
Support SharePoint branding, customization, and page design using front-end web technologies and platform-native capabilities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to standardize templates, page layouts, and visual identity across sites and publications.
Translate complex information into intuitive and visually effective content for a broad range of users.
