About The Position

Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, is seeking a Sr. Serial Life Manager. This role involves pioneering technology for mobility experiences that matter to people. The manager will be responsible for ensuring resources are provided in due time from various functions, managing serial life program performance through indicators, leading and mentoring a team, and acting as the official Faurecia Program representative towards the customer. The position requires applying the Engineering Change Management process, ensuring a reservoir of productivity ideas, organizing program documentation, and managing communication throughout the program life. The role also involves ensuring compliance with customer quality systems, HSE, safety, and regulation standards, proposing continuous improvement ideas, and capitalizing on knowledge sharing. Commitment to the highest ethical standards and adherence to Faurecia Group Codes of Ethics, Management, Environmental Policy, and Quality Policy are essential.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, design of experiment, functional analysis)
  • Master Faurecia Program Management System (internal) or Program management knowledge in particularly in matrix organization (external)
  • English fluent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Network animation and influencing skills
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization in a cooperative and positive way
  • International mindset
  • Experience in Design & Development or in Industrial Operations in Automotive sector
  • Seniority: 6 experience years minimum

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the necessary resources are provided in due time from the different functions (Sales, Controlling, Costing, Plant Purchasing, Quality, Product & Process Engineering…)
  • Manage serial life program performance through indicators (Customer PPM, Scrap, Operating Margin…)
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of direct reports.
  • Direct report performance tracking and reviews
  • Initiate in strong relationship with the Operations and Manage convergence plan to achieve the targets
  • Cascade Program objectives on to the functions
  • Act as official Faurecia Program representative towards the customer
  • Apply Engineering Change Management process
  • Ensure a permanent reservoir of productivity ideas
  • Ensure program documentation organization for data continuity between customers, suppliers, R&D centers and Plants
  • Organize communication throughout the program life including confidentiality management
  • Ensure that the functions use the Faurecia standard tools
  • Ensure the compliance of Programs with Customer Quality systems, HSE, Safety and Regulation standards
  • Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
  • Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and adherence to: Faurecia Group Code of Ethics, Faurecia Group Code of Management, Faurecia Group Environmental Policy, Faurecia Group Quality Policy
