About The Position

We are seeking independent candidates for a Sr SAS Developer role. This position requires strong SAS Viya and SAS Programming skills, including Base, Advanced, and Macros. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAS Studio and SAS Visual Analytics tools, as well as experience integrating SAS Viya with SFMC and other third-party tools. Experience in the banking domain with marketing campaign knowledge is highly desired. Proficiency in advanced data analysis using SAS programming is essential. The role involves translating complex functional requirements into clear technical logic and troubleshooting performance issues with large datasets. Experience with API-based integrations and real-time data processing is also important. The ability to work with cross-functional teams and downstream systems is crucial.

Requirements

Strong SAS Viya skills
Strong SAS Programming skills (Base, Advanced, Macros)
Experience in SAS Studio
Experience in SAS Visual Analytics tools
Experience integrating SAS Viya with SFMC and other third-party tools
Experience in Banking domain with Marketing Campaign knowledge
Proficiency in advanced data analysis using SAS programming
5+ years of hands-on expertise in SAS Viya tool
10+ years of relevant experience with SAS programming
Overall Experience 8-12 years
Strong technical ability with data-driven logical skills
Ability to translate complex functional requirements into defining clear technical logic
Knowledge of SQL Server
Hands-on experience with stored procedures
Hands-on experience with campaign execution logic
Hands-on experience with A/B testing
Ability to troubleshoot performance issues with large datasets
Experience in API-based integrations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
