About The Position

ADP ESI Migration Factory is hiring a Senior SAP Migration Consultant to support the GlobalView to RISE / S/4HANA migration program, one of the largest SAP Payroll transformations globally. This role operates in a true Tier 3 / L3 capacity, requiring deep expertise in SAP HCM configuration, payroll, and production issue resolution. This is not a coordination or ticket-routing role. You will be expected to diagnose issues independently, implement configuration fixes, and understand system behavior at a technical-functional level. If you cannot differentiate between configuration issues and ABAP defects, or lack hands-on SPRO experience, this role is not a fit.

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on SAP HCM configuration
• Proven experience in L3/Tier 3 support
• Strong ability to perform root cause analysis independently
• Strong ability to work in SPRO/customizing
• Experience with Payroll or adjacent HCM modules
• Ability to differentiate config vs code issues
• Ability to read and debug ABAP code to support issue analysis

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex SAP HCM issues without escalation
• Perform root cause analysis across Payroll (when applicable), Personnel Admin, and Organizational Management
• Analyze logs, tables, and system behavior to identify true system defects vs config gaps
• Execute configuration in SPRO
• Maintain and adjust Infotypes, Enterprise structure, and Payroll elements (if applicable)
• Validate fixes through end-to-end system testing
• Execute structured, repeatable migration tasks with precision
• Perform data validation, system checks, and pre/post migration activities
• Identify inconsistencies across environments and resolve them
• Ability to read and debug ABAP code to support issue analysis
• Use debugging tools to trace payroll and HCM processing logic and identify whether issues are configuration or code-related
• Partner with ABAP teams but do not rely on them for initial diagnosis
• Read/debug enough ABAP to identify whether issue is config vs code
• Analyze SAP Notes, Support packs, and Enhancements
• Work closely with Functional teams, Technical/ABAP teams, and the Migration factory team
• Communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders
