The Senior Sales Representative will manage direct TiO₂ sales, supporting global accounts and key customers across coatings, plastics, and paper markets. This role is responsible for both sustaining current business and identifying growth opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of the chemicals industry, particularly coatings or plastics as necessitated by the accounts served.
  • Strong foundation of business fundamentals, measurement, and business finance.
  • Extensive experience in utilizing analytical tools and problem-solving approaches and techniques.
  • Very strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Extensive experience presenting and persuading across functions and at all levels of the customer organization.
  • Experience negotiating and influencing at the C suite level of the customer.
  • Extensive successful experience in negotiating customer contracts and agreements.
  • Experience in the chemicals industry.
  • Coating and/or Plastics background is necessary for this position.
  • Demonstrated successful commercial experience at a comparably high level of complexity and impact on the customer.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Knowledge of and experience in managing complex accounts in the chemical industry.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the commercial arena.

Responsibilities

  • Manage direct TiO₂ sales, supporting global accounts and key customers across coatings, plastics, and paper markets.
  • Sustain current business and identify growth opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Demonstrate value and build trust with the customer through knowledge and understanding of the industry.
  • Understand, describe and critique the business and economic drivers of the accounts.
  • Drive the most profitable outcome for INEOS through business knowledge.
  • Utilize analytical tools and problem-solving approaches and techniques to reach resolution of complex issues, including organizing potential problem solvers and leading problem resolution efforts through teams.
  • Lead organizations to positive outcomes in all circumstances including commercial and technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, using appropriate media and language, and effectively report business progress internally and to the customer.
  • Present and persuade across functions and at all levels of the customer organization.
  • Negotiate and influence at the C suite level of the customer.
  • Lead negotiations meeting customer needs and delivering desired outcome for INEOS.
  • Overcome resistance to negotiations and advocate a win-win approach.
  • Negotiate customer contracts and agreements.
