About The Position

Gain market share in the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business by promoting, selling, and servicing Medtronic's Pacing products within an assigned territory. CRM Sales representatives must have the ability to work and/or travel outside of normal business hours, including evening and weekend on-call support. Territory for this role: Boston. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory and be able to travel to multiple customer accounts throughout the region; a valid driver's license, active insurance is required for this role. In addition, the final candidate must have a driving record that meets company standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years OR Associate's Degree and 6+ years OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Active vehicle insurance.
  • Driving record that meets company standards.
  • Ability to work and/or travel outside of normal business hours, including evening and weekend on-call support.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Ability to use computers.
  • Ability to operate a moving vehicle.
  • Ability to work in Cath Labs and or O.R. with radiation exposure.
  • Possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference will be given to local, qualified candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience.
  • 4 years medical industry sales experience in hospital environment.
  • 3 years selling implantable Cardiac Rhythm Management Devices.
  • Demonstrable success in previous employment indicating high level of sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Medtronic CRM products and effectively support sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate customer engagement activities, meetings, and events to strengthen customer relationships and drive business growth.
  • Complete required administrative tasks, including expense reports, account analyses, inventory logs, competitive updates, and territory planning documentation.
  • Provide field intelligence on competitive activity, market trends, pricing changes, customer preferences, and product feature feedback.
  • Manage territory resources, inventory, and assets efficiently, including product allocation and delivery support.
  • Utilize sales and marketing collateral to support promotional activities and meet territory business needs.
  • Train and educate existing and prospective customers on Medtronic products to drive adoption and growth within the territory.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of assigned product portfolios, clinical applications, and industry developments.
  • Advise customers on product performance, best practices, and solutions to support optimal patient and business outcomes.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support customer clinics, hospitals, and business meetings, with frequent independent driving – approximate 80% of the time.
  • Transport products, equipment, and materials between vehicles and customer locations as needed.
  • Perform job duties that require extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday up to 8 hours a day.
  • Operate safely in clinical environments that may require the use of personal protective equipment and exposure to infectious diseases or radiation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
