We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who thrives in complexity, thinks strategically, and knows how to turn relationships into lasting business impact. This is a high-impact role where you will lead major customer engagements, shape deal strategy, and help drive revenue growth across key accounts.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial, technical, and interpersonal acumen
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems with sound judgment
  • Proven success managing long, high-value B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and uncover opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and drive to win
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in complex B2B sales (energy or infrastructure preferred)
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel (~35% or as needed)

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow strategic customer relationships, managing the full lifecycle from early engagement through deal execution and expansion
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, developing winning strategies in competitive environments
  • Partner cross-functionally (engineering, finance, legal, operations) to deliver high-quality proposals and commercial solutions
  • Structure, negotiate, and close large, sophisticated deals that align customer needs with Nextpower’s capabilities
  • Develop and execute account plans to identify new opportunities and expand long-term partnerships
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM data hygiene
  • Conduct customer business reviews and act as a trusted advisor on market trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales leadership on pricing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Manage a team of Sales Analysts/Associates to support our customers
