About The Position

This customer-facing role is responsible for winning business in the Data Centre Market and achieving objectives within commercial policy guidelines and operating budgets. The primary focus is on sales within the Data Center vertical, specifically targeting Data Center projects and selling solutions related to Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Instrument Transformers, Power Quality and Power Sensing devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience Years of direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Nice To Haves

• 3 years or more of proven successful sales experience in Data Centre industry, ideally with experience in Electrical equipment Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Instrument Transformers
• Experience developing and executing successful growth strategies
• Ability to interact & function cooperatively with multiple stakeholders and customers
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Established project management skills

Responsibilities

• Key Account Manager responsible for Data Centre segment driving business growth by managing key client accounts and developing new business opportunities across multiple states.
• Develop and execute commercial strategy for sale of Grid Solutions Power Transmission business line products and services, including Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Instrument Transformers, Power Quality and Power Sensing devices.
• Collaborate with region leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions that address client challenges.
• Own the accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customer(s).
• Develop and own with the support of the regional Directors, strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of sales teams account strategies.
• Drive identification, prospecting and creation of new sales opportunities.
• Help develop written strategies for pursuing opportunities at Data Centre strategic customer accounts.
• Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competition to product line marketing.
• Perform periodic account reviews with management.
