About The Position

Guitar Center is seeking a passionate and dynamic Sr. Sales Associate to join their retail team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about music, possess strong sales and leadership skills, and enjoy creating positive customer experiences. The Sr. Sales Associate will be responsible for engaging customers, driving sales, maintaining product knowledge, building customer relationships, and supporting store operations.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets with flair!
  • Upsell and cross-sell by connecting customers with the perfect instruments and accessories to complete their musical setup.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of our gear, from the latest guitars to cutting-edge recording equipment, and help enhance the knowledge of others.
  • Grow customer relationships and help fellow Associates foster them.
  • Help the team be the go-to in the local music community.
  • Keep the store looking organized and appealing with organized displays and restocked shelves.
  • Practice leadership abilities by guiding and mentoring fellow team members.
  • Support team members through customer interactions and operational tasks.
  • As a keyholding member of the store, be available for opening and closing the store as needed.
