About The Position

This role involves troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning robotic cells and all mechanical and electrical equipment. The technician will also train the maintenance team on robot troubleshooting and maintenance skills, contribute significantly to new automation projects, and focus on increasing uptime and improving automation project success. Key responsibilities include driving 5S improvements, enhancing safety performance, maintaining an inventory of robot cell spare parts, identifying potential failures and implementing preventive measures, and supporting rapid return-to-service plans. The position also requires maintaining assigned 5S areas and promoting continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in direct support of production robotic cells.
• Expert ability to interface with, understand, and improve automation control programs.
• Extensive experience with and knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical components and repair techniques.
• Demonstrated make-it-happen attitude.
• Proven ability and willingness to effectively train others.
• Must be able to interpret hydraulic and electric diagrams and schematics.
