About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead critical capital model redevelopment initiatives within Global Risk Management at a major Canadian bank. This role sits within a centralized PMO delivery team, responsible for end-to-end project execution across risk programs globally (Canada + International).

Requirements

• Experience with IFRS9 model programs
• Exposure to IRB (Internal Ratings-Based) frameworks or Basel regulations
• Understanding of data pipelines, cloud environments, and model implementation flows
• Familiarity with Python / SQL / data tooling (conceptual, not hands-on)
• Big 5 Canadian banks

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of capital modeling projects (similar lifecycle to IFRS9 model development)
• Manage end-to-end project execution across risk, technology, finance, audit, and data teams
• Oversee financials (budget, accruals, forecasting) with support from PCO
• Coordinate model development → implementation → productionization lifecycle
• Lead governance, reporting, and executive-level steering updates (SVP/EVP level)
• Ensure delivery under strict regulatory and executive deadlines
