About The Position

This role involves providing mission planning and requirements development using an interdisciplinary approach. The engineer will encompass the entire technical effort to evolve and verify an integrated and total life-cycle balanced set of system, people, and process solutions that satisfy customer needs in support of system acquisitions. This includes maritime, ground, air, space-based, and RF-enabled collection systems. The position requires the ability to model, simulate, and analyze systems using STK for mission planning, performance prediction, and scenario analysis. The engineer will develop technical information to support government program management decision-making, assist in managing system configuration, and translate system definitions into work breakdown structures. Additionally, the role involves developing CONOPS for technical collection operations and management, including RF, sensor, or communications-based mission capabilities, and overseeing contractor development of technical collection systems, RF components, and supporting software.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with currenty Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as the integrating mechanism across technical efforts related to the development, manufacturing, verification, deployment, operations, support, disposal, and training for systems and their life cycle processes
  • Experience working with the community to prioritize, rank, and task technical and RF-enabled collection capabilities
  • Experience in processing and exploiting technical intelligence and the production of intelligence products for dissemination to the community
  • Experience supporting RF, sensing, communications, or signal-based systems within a systems engineering or SETA capacity
  • Experience in Source Selections
  • Experience in the oversight of program cost, schedule, and performance
  • Knowledge of fundamental of electrical engineering as it relates to digital signal processing (DSP), alternate waveforms, and analysis of signal descriptors
  • Hands on experience with instrumentation for RF measurements
  • Demonstrated experience in mission planning and requirements development to evolve and verify an integrated and total lifecycle balanced set of system, people, and process solutions that satisfy customer needs, including systems with RF, sensing, or signal collection elements.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting systems engineering and integration functions for customer acquisitions, including requirements development, acquisition documentation, test and evaluation, and system design reviews for complex technical and RF-influenced systems.
  • Experience developing programmatic and technical information to support the program management decision-making process for collection, sensing, or communications systems.
  • Experience developing, managing, and controlling system configuration documents and work breakdown structures.
  • Demonstrated experience providing contractor support to government collection systems, RF-enabled platforms, and associated software acquisitions.
