Develop and optimize RF automation systems for connectivity technologies on WiFi, Bluetooth, and UWB for Apple's latest products, including Home, iPad, and Audio, spanning from R&D to mass production phases. This role involves developing calibration algorithms for both conducted and radiated levels, including RF front-end components like filters, tank circuit modeling, amplifiers, LNAs, and antennas. You will implement test algorithms to measure key RF metrics such as Tx Power, Rx Gain calibration, and Group delay, TRP. The position requires engagement in design validation for various wireless technologies from prototyping to mass production, and the design of calibration routines and test algorithms contributing to a multi-faceted test software suite. Additionally, you will develop software apps and drivers for Apple platforms to support feature prototyping and support manufacturing builds overseas during new product introduction phases. Collaboration with chipset manufacturers, test equipment vendors, and in-house antenna and RFHW design teams is crucial for analyzing wireless performance data and addressing technical challenges to deploy groundbreaking wireless features with impeccable quality. International and domestic travel is required 15%. The standard work week is 40 hours.
