Works under broad direction to plan, organize, direct, and participate in work of major research project in field of specialization for which incumbent is particularly qualified by virtue of extensive training and experience. Collaborate with experimental and clinical labs to study a variety of biological and biomedical problems related to TSG syndrome-associated developmental abnormalities and tumorigenesis as well as the role of neural stem cells and tumors in the nervous system. Collaborate with bioinformatics team to study cancer genomics data and identify predictive biomarkers or drug targets. Ideal applicants should have Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or degree in Biology/Genetics/neuroscience. Research experience in neuroscience, cancer biology, single-cell genomics and childhood diseases desirable. Attention to detail, time management, effective communication skills, ability to problem solve and work independently, teamwork, customer/client service, and professionalism. Minimum working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
