About The Position

The Sr. Regional Industrial Engineering Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight of Industrial Engineering functions across multiple manufacturing sites within an assigned region. This role partners closely with site leadership teams to drive operational excellence, standardize best practices, improve productivity, optimize manufacturing performance, and support business growth initiatives throughout the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive Industrial Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience leading engineering teams.
  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites, regional operations, or global operations preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering productivity improvements, cost reductions, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience within Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or high-volume manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, MTM, Time Studies, Capacity Planning, and Labor Modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Expertise in manufacturing process optimization, workflow design, and productivity improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent project management and change management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels and geographic locations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Industrial Engineering tools, simulation software, CAD applications, and data analysis platforms.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience developing business cases and ROI analyses.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the region and occasionally internationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience leading large-scale operational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing transfers, and factory startup activities.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, digital manufacturing, and advanced analytics tools.
  • Experience within a global manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Industrial Engineering teams across multiple manufacturing sites within the assigned region.
  • Drive the implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of Industrial Engineering methodologies, tools, and best practices across regional operations.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, MTM, line balancing, capacity planning, labor modeling, and time study methodologies.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Site Leadership teams to identify, prioritize, and execute operational improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, labor utilization, throughput, and overall operational performance.
  • Analyze manufacturing and operational data to identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Industrial Engineering performance and regional operational objectives.
  • Support New Product Introductions (NPI), manufacturing transfers, and capacity expansion projects by optimizing layouts, workflows, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement workshops, training programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across regional sites.
  • Drive consistency and standardization of Industrial Engineering processes, tools, and reporting structures throughout the region.
  • Develop business cases and financial justifications for improvement projects and capital investments.
  • Manage regional Industrial Engineering budgets, resources, and project portfolios.
  • Act as a change agent by promoting a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate project status, results, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Travel regularly to support regional sites and business initiatives.
