About The Position
The Sr React Frontend Developer designs, develops, maintains, and enhances front-end applications, primarily using React or Angular. The role includes building single-page and rich internet applications, implementing business requirements, and contributing to next-generation solutions alongside an existing technology stack that includes Java, C++, Linux, Unix, open-source platforms, and SOA. The developer drafts and reviews architecture diagrams, specifications, business requirements, and design documents; documents technical requirements, program and subsystem designs, system problem resolutions, project tasks, estimates, and unit and integration tests. The role collaborates with PMO, product, business, technical operations, systems engineering, infrastructure, network, and architecture teams, and includes mentoring other software developers. The position is based in Alpharetta, Georgia, with a minimum of three onsite days per week, and is described as an 11-month role.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of React-based front-end development experience.
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, or MCA.
- Strong software development experience and expertise in software development principles, including design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration, and deployments.
- Expertise in single-page applications and rich internet application design and implementation.
- Strong command of browser-side technologies, including AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, and object-oriented JavaScript.
- Expertise in JavaScript frameworks including React, MobX, jQuery, AngularJS, and Node.js.
- Expertise in web technologies including Apache, HTTP, SOAP, JSON, XML, and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in DOM APIs, AJAX programming, and build systems such as webpack, Grunt, and Gulp.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organized team player able to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and work independently.
Nice To Haves
- Experience developing web applications with JavaScript, React or Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS.
- Solid understanding of responsive design development and mobile web best practices.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Practical experience with and understanding of low-latency messaging middleware.
- Practical experience working within the Scrum framework and Agile methodology.
- Willingness to work in adjacent areas, such as back-end development, DevOps, or another team's codebase, and shape end-to-end solutions.

- Knowledge of financial markets, banking, or wealth management.
- Familiarity with related non-development fields, such as product, UX, business analytics, and information mapping.
- Experience with Java, Spring, Springboard, Hibernate, and UI development.
- Practical experience with relational databases such as Oracle and Sybase.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop front-end applications based on React or Angular.

- Work effectively with PMO, development, product management, business, technical operations, systems engineering, infrastructure, network, and architecture teams.
- Mentor other software developers.
- Maintain awareness of industry training, compliance concerns, risk-control processes, and the regulatory landscape.
