About The Position

As a Sr Quality Engineer at MKS, you will partner with Operations, Engineering, and Internal Teams to support business and customer needs and drive world-class quality culture. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Quality Manager.

Requirements

5+ Years of job-related work experience
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required
Strong capability in data collection and analysis, SPC and using statistical tools to identify trends and solve quality problems
Leadership skills. Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and gain consensus.
Able to interpret mechanical drawings, understand GD&T and mechanical measuring data.

Nice To Haves

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification preferred
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools and application.

Responsibilities

Developing quality data collection plans and inspection/process documentation.
Performing analysis and identifying trends in inspection data.
Using statistical analysis tools to identify issues and draw conclusions.
Leading cross-functional problem solving and quality improvement teams.
Preparing customer first article packages.
Understanding customer specifications/requirements and translating them into internal PORs (Process of record).
Training personnel in Processes and Procedures.
Leading audits to ensure product and process conformity.
Documenting results and following action plan through to completion.
Reviewing internal and customer data and preparing reports.
