Sr Quality Assurance Engineer
About The Position
The Sr Quality Assurance Engineer will plan and execute testing for system upgrades and new features across a modernized enterprise platform. The role covers Java-based web applications, Apache Tomcat deployments, Oracle 19c database integrations and data flows, and SAP Business Intelligence reporting interfaces. It includes functional, regression, manual, UI, cross-browser, and API testing, as well as developing and maintaining UI automation and integrating automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines. The engineer will validate federal cybersecurity requirements, government accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG), security controls, and data protection measures. Work includes testing applications in Windows Server environments, managing defects, documenting test results and quality metrics, and providing analytical reports on system quality and readiness. The role collaborates with developers, business analysts, and security teams in a regulated environment. Applicants must hold a current clearance or be clearable. The experience requirement is 18+ years in systems or IT-related roles, or a highly related field with similar scope and responsibilities. A bachelor's degree may substitute for 4 years of experience, and a master's degree may substitute for 6 years. The proposed salary range is $150,000–$180,000. Requirements

- Extensive experience in functional and regression testing of Java-based web applications.

- Experience testing Apache Tomcat application servers, Oracle 19c databases, and SAP Business Intelligence interfaces.
