About The Position

InsuraMatch, a national independent agency owned by Travelers Insurance, is launching a new business division focused on commercial lines with an Excess and Surplus (E&S) lines focus. This new venture is a key strategic priority as InsuraMatch seeks to diversify its operations and advance Travelers' broader objectives. As the Wholesale/E&S Senior Quality Assurance Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a quality assurance program that ensures superior service delivery across the E&S Wholesale Division. You will report to the Director of Wholesale Operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of insurance, operations, or related experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Commercial Lines Excess & Surplus Lines industry.
  • Advanced understanding of E&S compliance processes, surplus lines taxes and filings, and standard MGA or wholesaler processes and procedures.
  • Four or more years of experience in a supported business area, preferably in quality assurance.
  • Ability to manage high-volume tasks simultaneously while ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality completion.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on producing error-free work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business areas and with senior leaders.
  • Excellent coaching, feedback, and mentoring skills with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organization
  • Effective at working with cross-functional teams on varying business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain a quality assurance measurement and review program for the E&S Wholesale Division.
  • Perform complex quality reviews adhering to program guidelines and audit standards, including re-performing audits of peers and/or vendor partners; requires increased independent judgment and discretion.
  • Analyze quality review results to assess performance, identify trends, and surface opportunities for improvement; present findings to business leaders as needed.
  • Develop and communicate implementation tools to drive ongoing process improvements to employees on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure quality assurance findings are corrected, documented, and tracked to resolution.
  • Actively participate in QA meetings and discussions; provide feedback to managers, coaches, and individual employees regarding quality reviews.
  • Manage and facilitate implementation of changes to QA processes, including program design and attributes.
  • Lead all testing and evaluation efforts related to systems updates or enhancements tied to new regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate State Regulatory Filings for accuracy and completeness, ensuring they are prepared in accordance with state-specific requirements and cadence; serve as the technical resource for carrier or state regulatory audits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Legal/Compliance to ensure newly enacted state statutory and regulatory requirements are reflected in systems configuration, training guidance, and workflow processes.
  • Monitor team operations to ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and regulatory requirements; assist in developing and implementing action plans as needed.
  • Champion and model change management behaviors to support organizational evolution.
  • Maintain high visibility of the Quality program by reporting on progress and successes across the organization.
  • Provide support and technical expertise to internal partners (e.g., Corporate Audit) as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
