Requirements

  • Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.
  • Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Successful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation.
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing.
  • At least 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; roles requiring the understanding of, and operation to comprehensive regulatory requirements.
  • Effective written, listening, and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • NQA-1 or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems experience and understanding of OSHA requirements and associated implementation.
  • Ability to obtain NQA-1 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Ability to travel to client sites to support task/mission activities (typical duration 3-10 business days).

Nice To Haves

  • Active DOE or DoD security clearance is strongly preferred.
  • Experience implementing and advising implementation of requirements in a systematic manner using a graded approach.
  • Ability to provide oversight of programs, assume leadership responsibilities for team activities and interact with and coordinate with multiple organizations, including federal counterparts.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools.
  • Experience developing and/or implementing regulatory program and procedures in an industrial setting.
  • Experience in performing and ideally, leading regulatory program assessments and audits.
  • Applicable professional certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Supports multiple areas in support of L&A client tasks and missions and corporate program activities.
  • Ensures the timely and effective execution of assigned client and corporate tasks consistent with established requirements and applicable implementing procedures.
  • Drives needed corrective and improvement actions, trending, and metric analysis to foster continuous improvement.
  • Coordinates with task team to plan and deliver task deliverables.
  • Develops and tracks assigned program performance to objectives and performance targets metrics.
  • Promotes and acts to improve program effectiveness.
  • Develops and improves program procedures.
  • Identifies and documents risks.
  • Verifies completion and effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Plans and supports and/or leads client tasks and internal audits and assessments to evaluate the health of the overall programs.
  • Reviews actions associated with audit and assessment findings and opportunities for improvement to ensure objective evidence is appropriate.
  • Trains personnel on the program requirements and practices.
  • Assists with client supplier performance evaluation activities.
