About The Position

emergiTEL is hiring a Sr. QA Test Analyst for a financial client. The role supports an SAP S/4 upgrade and other SAP-related projects. It is a four-month contract with a possible extension and is 100% remote, with the location listed as Calgary, Alberta.

The analyst will contribute to SAP testing activities, including identifying test scenarios and developing test plans and scripts for upgrade projects. The role requires experience across multiple testing cycles, strong documentation and communication skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders across a multi-team project environment. Mentoring and sharing technical expertise with team members are also expected.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of hands-on SAP functional, testing, or development experience, primarily with ERP/ECC systems or other systems with an S/4 foundation.
• 5+ years working on agile or waterfall SAP projects.
• 2+ years of hands-on testing or testing collaboration in an upgrade project, including identifying test scenarios and creating test plans and test scripts.
• Experience with functional unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and smoke testing.
• Excellent documentation skills for scope, test plans, test cases, and test summaries.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in a multi-team project environment, including communicating with multiple project stakeholders.
• Strong prioritization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Persuasive and professional verbal and written communication style.
• Demonstrated expertise in mentoring and sharing technical expertise with team members.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with testing tools and integrators such as Tosca Tricentis, Tosca Qtest, Playwright, Jira, or ServiceNow.
• SAP Change Impact Analysis experience.
• QA Governance and Sustainment experience.
• Banking QA experience.
• SAP S/4 testing experience.
• Multi-year QA lead experience and high-level communication skills with numerous project stakeholders.
