About The Position
Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for a Sr. Project Specialist for Grand Rapids, MI (Hybrid). This role oversees medium to large sized, multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts. The Sr. Project Specialist acts as a change agent to create and support a positive change process, drives project progress, manages work plans, and ensures expected business outcomes are achieved. They analyze and document processes for continuous improvement, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor less experienced team members. This position requires competence in all project phases and the ability to recommend and implement solutions for significant issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 5 years of relevant experience related experience

Responsibilities
- Oversees medium to large sized, multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts.
- Drives progress of the project including overseeing the assessment, analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Manages work plan, scope and aids in assessment of resource requirements in order to achieve desired outcomes and directs re-engineering efforts.
- Ensure that the project is achieving the expected business outcomes.
- Analyzes and documents, processes, procedures and outcomes to seek continuous improvement.
- Communicates, collaborates, networks with and acts as a consultant to key stakeholders/business partners / executive level leadership in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources.
- Acts as a mentor to others.
- Participates on committees/task forces as member, consultant and/or chair.
- Develops and leads teams which are larger in scope.
- Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project management.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of significant issues and develops recommendation for leadership consideration.
- Provides guidance, direction and training to less experienced Project Specialists.
