Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management or a related field (e.g., Consulting, Finance, Operations, Portfolio Management) with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe development processes.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for managing plans, timelines, and resources.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and execute change management strategies at various organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Experience creating project budgets and assessing financial data across projects and programs.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and overseeing the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects within the organization.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Utilizing project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to drive project success, manage risks, and effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.
  • Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets using project management software and tools.
  • Allocating resources, including team members and external vendors, to ensure project tasks are assigned and completed effectively.
  • Leading and motivating cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Communicating project updates, status, and key milestones to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing project documentation including charters, requirements, change requests, and lessons learned—ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Conducting regular project meetings to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Driving continuous improvement by analyzing project performance and applying best practices and lessons learned.
  • Ensuring high-quality project delivery that meets stakeholder expectations and delivers value to the organization.
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to project managers, supporting professional growth within the PMO team.
