About The Position

The Senior Project manager will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic business objectives. The Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and stakeholder satisfaction. Reporting to the Director, Sales Execution, the Senior Project Manager works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution across the business for key initiatives, driving optimal business outcomes while building and maintaining a solid communication framework for project goals, status, risks, and delivery. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple departments and levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, including management of large-scale, cross-functional projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
  • Experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Startup or high-growth company experience

  • Background in sports media, streaming, or entertainment
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent projects and programs with varying levels of complexity and business impact.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, budgets, and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Manage project dependencies and coordinate activities across teams and departments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, executives, and business partners.
  • Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees, and executive reviews.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
  • Build strong relationships and align diverse stakeholders around project objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks.
  • Escalate critical issues appropriately and drive resolution.
  • Develop contingency plans and ensure business continuity throughout project execution.
  • Partner with product, technology, operations, finance, legal, marketing, and other business teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate resources and priorities across multiple functional groups.
  • Foster collaboration and accountability among project team members.
  • Promote project management best practices, methodologies, and governance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to PMO development, reporting frameworks, and organizational maturity initiatives.
