About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage both sales and project management functions within our organization. This role combines the responsibilities of project management, including coordinating resources and communicating with stakeholders, while also driving sales efforts and fostering client relationships. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficient in Pro Core and Construct Connect software platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with both internal teams and clients.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 25% of the time as needed for project oversight or client meetings.
  • Regular use of math for conversions and determining pallet quantities, carton quantities, and ordering requirements.
  • Strong skills in Excel, with the ability to analyze and present data effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess and make decisions quickly.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate labor rates within budget, Director of Operations (DOO) approval required
  • Schedule and coordinate pre-construction meetings with Field Manager, Installer, and Superintendent to review Scope of Work (SOW).
  • Attend and contribute to safety meetings to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Work in tandem with an Assistant Project Manager to maintain a material procurement log. Approve purchase orders for all materials required for the project. Regularly review inventory levels to ensure adequate supply.
  • Create and distribute work orders for installers, ensuring they have the necessary diagrams and installation instructions.
  • Prepare weekly payroll for installers, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Keep team members and customers informed of project status, including any delays due to jobsite issues or material lead times.
  • Prepare and document any changes to the original project scope, ensuring clear communication and approvals.
  • Gather all required closeout documents, including attic stock (if applicable), and provide them to customers upon project completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Review and submit accurate bids and proposals, working closely with clients to ensure all aspects of the project are captured.
  • Provide ongoing sales support during the life cycle of the project, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any sales-related concerns that may arise.
  • Perform other duties as required or requested by management.
