About The Position

Verdantas, through its company PACE Engineers, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager-Transportation to lead and deliver complex transportation engineering projects across the Pacific Northwest. This role involves overseeing technical design, project delivery, client engagement, budgeting, and business development. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, initiative, self-direction, and the ability to influence and persuade. The role is dynamic, demanding adaptability, effective delegation, and team development. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • PE License, WA and/or OR or the ability to obtain within 60 days.
  • At least 15+ years of transportation engineering experience with demonstrated project management leadership.
  • Proven experience managing multi-discipline transportation projects including planning, design, and delivery.
  • Strong competency with transportation design principles, project development processes, and relevant engineering software (e.g., MicroStation, Civil3D, OpenRoads).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Track record of business development involvement or client relationship building.
