Sr. Project Manager, IT Solutions

Cyber AdvisorsMaple Grove, MN
Hybrid

About The Position

Cyber Advisors is a rapidly growing managed services and cybersecurity company that manages a broad portfolio of client projects across onboarding, infrastructure, cloud, and Microsoft environments. The company is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to manage a high-volume, client-facing portfolio of 30–60 concurrent projects of varying complexity, from quick-turn service engagements to multi-month onboarding and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment, is structured, demonstrates follow-through, and can manage clients effectively without a script.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in a Managed Service Provider or IT services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large, concurrent project portfolio (not one big project at a time)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud solutions, and common SMB infrastructure
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage or a comparable PSA tool
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — with both technical teams and non-technical clients
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities without dropping the ball

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Moovila or comparable resource scheduling tools
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification (or actively working toward one)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity services including penetration testing, risk assessments, or compliance engagements
  • Experience contributing to or building PMO processes, templates, or SOPs
  • Exposure to post-acquisition integration or rapid organizational growth

Responsibilities

  • Own the full project lifecycle for assigned PS and MSP engagements — from initiation through closure
  • Manage a portfolio of 30–60 concurrent projects of varying scope and complexity
  • Build and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and surface blockers before they become issues
  • Create and maintain project documentation in ConnectWise, including status notes, work plans, and time entries
  • Drive projects to closure — manage CAF, invoice handoff to finance, and post-project follow-up
  • Serve as the primary client point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Send welcome emails, lead kickoff meetings, and provide regular status updates
  • Manage scope and change orders — identify out-of-scope work early and drive CO decisions
  • Keep MS engineers informed on projects that touch their accounts
  • Partner with Sales and Solution Architects on project handoffs — understand scope, dependencies, and client context before kickoff
  • Assign and coordinate engineers and consultants based on skillset and availability
  • Escalate issues quickly and propose solutions — don't sit on problems
  • Contribute to PMO process improvement initiatives, templates, and documentation

Benefits

  • Compensation commensurate with experience and performance-based incentives.
  • Vacation and PTO.
  • Employer-paid Health and Dental Insurance for CA employees.
  • 401(k) with employer matching.
  • Opportunities for professional development, including certifications and ongoing training.
  • Engaging, dynamic work on a wide range of client security challenges.
