About The Position

Responsible for the planning and management of IT projects through their entire lifecycle, applying the Logicalis PMO project delivery methodology to achieve desired outcomes within the approved Statement of Work (SOW). This role leads Professional Services teams in initiating, planning, and delivering technology solutions on time, within budget, and with exceptional customer service. Primary activities include project management, internal and external communications, project cost management, and interfacing with customer contacts, project teams, and stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and formal Project Management Training (equivalent combination accepted).
7+ years of enterprise-level project management experience, managing complex Information Technology projects leading teams of up to 10 resources.
7+ years of project management experience in IT Professional Services IT Infrastructure, Azure Cloud, and/or Managed Services technologies.
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project.
Experience working within Project or Project Portfolio or Workforce Management systems (i.e. Service Now).

Nice To Haves

Project Management Professional (PMP) strongly preferred.
CAPM, ITIL, CSM and/or technical certifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

Manage large, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives across a diverse services portfolio (cloud, infrastructure, networking, security, collaboration, managed services, digital workplace solutions), partnering with customers, engineering teams, and vendors.
Apply project management methodologies, practices, tools, and techniques in a matrixed environment.
Lead and manage effective delivery of services and processes.
Conduct project planning, execution, controlling, and closing activities according to the Logicalis Project Management Methodology.
Oversee third-party vendor or partner deliverables.
Develop and manage a Project Plan with Gantt charts, predecessors, milestones, and quality gates.
Compare actual performance with planned performance, analyze variances, and take corrective actions.
Ensure planning and execution of tasks are consistent with SOW requirements, leading Change Management and Project Change Requests for new scope.
Ensure profitability targets are met or exceeded, track billing milestones, and report Earned Value.
Create and maintain a master project plan, request and direct necessary resources, and communicate adjustments.
Apply continuous risk management protocols, identify and document risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Develop a Communication Plan for project meetings, status reporting, and escalation management.
Ensure deliverables are provisioned and validated according to the SOW, and that the customer accepts the services provided.
Document and share lessons learned for continuous process improvement.
Possess functional knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and/or Managed Services technologies to support engineers in project delivery.
Actively promote an understanding and commitment to the mission and values of Logicalis.
Maintain working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and Logicalis policies and procedures.
Support and conduct oneself in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.
