About The Position

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Due Diligence Sr. Project Manager for its Building & Construction team. This role offers a career growth opportunity in the Building Science Solutions field. Intertek's Building and Construction division comprises industry-leading brands in architecture, engineering, and construction, focusing on innovative product and project solutions. They provide risk management and quality assurance services including assurance, testing, inspection, and consulting for new developments, existing assets, and facilities. The Building Science Solutions (BSS) group specializes in building enclosure consulting, commissioning, and field performance testing for both new construction and retrofit projects.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 7+ years’ experience performing commercial Property Condition Assessments
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Quire reporting platform experience
  • Technical knowledge of commercial building systems
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to follow and enforce safety requirements and company policies.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Architectural, Construction Management or Engineering
  • Phase I ESA experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams, mentor staff, and maintain client and project team relationships.
  • Oversee safety and client deliverables, including technical content.
  • Review PCA and enhanced PCA reports for other assessors.
  • Assist with the technical advancement of the PCA service line with the PCA Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Participate in and complete the Intertek Internal Principal Consultant program.
  • Collaborate with the PCA team and PCA SME to develop/update PCA report templates, including client-specific templates.
  • Work with Quire personnel to support PCA and Enhanced Due Diligence reports.
  • Collaborate with PCA SME to update internal technical resources.
  • Identify internal skills gaps within the PCA practice and opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with clients and PCA staff on project-specific technical items.
  • Manage BSS related projects, including proposals, planning, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, execution, and reporting.
  • Monitor contract requirements, invoicing, receivables, and maintain acceptable profit margins.
  • Participate in training and management of staff to assist projects.
  • Maintain consistent and professional interaction and communication with clients and project teams.
