The Sr Project Manager role will be the primary driver of technology delivery in support of Lennar's Corporate Real Estate Portfolio — coordinating system implementations and cross-functional initiatives that directly enable the real estate team to operate at scale. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred but not required
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), LEED, or similar industry-recognized certification strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in managing IT infrastructure projects within construction environments
  • Proven experience overseeing low voltage, audio visual, access control, physical technology infrastructure and related technology trades in construction or facilities projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles from design through closeout, with a focus on integrating IT systems into physical environments.
  • Proficient in project management tools, including Jira, MS Project, and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a track record of working cross-functionally with IT, facilities, security, and construction teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with competing deadlines and limited resources.
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting construction drawings, floorplans, and technical schematics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, and the ability to apply each as appropriate based on project scope.
  • Knowledge of IT systems lifecycle, network and AV infrastructure design, access control technologies, and vendor management best practices.
  • Experience working in corporate real estate or large enterprise environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all phases of IT infrastructure build-outs for corporate office relocations and expansions, with a focus on low voltage cabling, audio visual systems, access control, and other related technology trades.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial accountability across IT and construction scopes.
  • Act as the primary IT representative within the Corporate Real Estate team, ensuring that technology infrastructure aligns with business goals and operational needs.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage construction timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project plans for IT infrastructure deployment, including milestone tracking, procurement schedules, installation, and commissioning.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications to ensure IT system requirements are accurately incorporated and executed.
  • Lead vendor selection and management processes for IT-related construction components, including issuing RFPs, evaluating bids, and overseeing contract execution.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with corporate standards and industry best practices for structured cabling, AV systems, access control, and related technologies.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues, providing clear documentation and communication throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Partner with internal IT, security, facilities, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems into existing corporate infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate records of all IT construction activities, including as-built documentation, punch lists, and change orders.
  • Conduct site walks and inspections to monitor project status, identify potential risks, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Develop and refine processes to improve consistency, efficiency, and repeatability of IT build-outs across multiple office locations.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities for IT components of construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and scalable solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for IT-related aspects of construction projects, providing technical guidance and oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to influence without direct authority in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and navigate competing priorities, especially in fast-paced construction and relocation projects.
  • Comfortable managing both high-level strategy and detailed execution across IT infrastructure and physical construction domains.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a track record of driving resolution on technical and logistical challenges in the field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple workstreams, vendors, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Confident communicator able to present technical and project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how IT infrastructure supports broader corporate real estate and workplace strategies.
