The Senior Project Controls Specialist (SrPCS) is responsible for developing analytical systems for routine project controls assignments, including complex aspects of individual project estimating, forecasting, change analysis, and cost control. This position is essential to the project controls core team and will support CAPEX projects in Hydro Generation, which can be associated with water retaining structures as well as hydro generation assets. The SrPCS supports Project Managers on varying ranked projects and programs in accordance with Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE) assignment criteria. The role involves leading or directing the set-up and review of project controls status (cost, contract, WBS, schedule, resource, etc.). The SrPCS performs various aspects of project control assignments using prescribed methods and tools and is critical to mentoring PCS I/PCS II positions. This position requires a high degree of acumen in project controls principles, a higher level of cognitive comprehension and application demonstrated through diverse work experiences, and proficient use, understanding, and application of project controls principles and associated software tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or Project Management OR HS Diploma and 9 years related work experience.
  • 5 years related work experience.
  • Proficiency/Expertise with project management / project controls concepts / computer applications / analytics.
  • Strong collaborative team member.

Responsibilities
