HNTB's Washington Office is seeking a Project Controls Manager to oversee an active department of Project Controls focused professionals currently serving in estimating, scheduling, and document control roles. This role will have responsibilities of managing staff, managing department budgets, supporting development of staff, and supporting business development efforts. The Project Controls Department will work closely with Construction Management leadership, clients, and design project and program managers. This opportunity entails leading project controls for assigned project(s) and ensures 4 for 4 – quality work, on time, on budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. Provides leadership and project controls expertise. Closely works with project manager/director, clients, sub-consultants, project stakeholders and office/district/division leaders to successfully lead all aspects of project controls. Serves as a project controls resource for the offices and districts. May support the office/division in related areas to ensure successful, profitable project execution and completion. The number of employees directly and indirectly supervised by the Sr Project Controls Manager is at least 15 but typically 17-20 or more or the Sr Project Controls Manager is typically responsible for managing project controls functions across mega (e.g., up to $500M in construction costs) and/or complex capital projects or program of projects.
