About The Position

The Advertising, IMDb, and Grand Challenge PXT Centers of Excellence organization seeks a Sr. Program Manager, Leadership Development Programs, to deliver impactful solutions that support the development of our world-class leaders. This role is for a highly versatile leadership development professional that aspires to apply their skills at the highest level. The day-to-day involves being a critical player in developing and delivering experiences which enlighten, educate, and inspire the world’s most talented leaders. This includes building best-in-class solutions, delivering them in a way that captivates customer attention, promotes a frictionless experience, and integrates that experience into a learner’s ecosystem. The role requires customer obsession and change enablement skillset to develop launch strategies that mobilize customers to action and deliver business impact. A high degree of ownership and results orientation are needed to obsessively collect, analyze, and report on data to ensure learning solutions exceed a continuously rising quality bar. Consultative skills are essential to partner effectively with senior leaders and subject matter experts to design and develop delivery mechanisms that drive adoption. Strong planning and project management skills are required to manage multiple priorities and pivot with agility. The ideal candidate is a builder at heart with experience in adult learning, inclusive leadership development, and instructional design, who can roll up their sleeves and build solutions. The candidate should be self-driven with a high degree of ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment balancing speed and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Instructional Systems Design, Adult Learning, Learning & Development, HR or a related discipline
  • Experience influencing senior leaders/stakeholders
  • Experience using business metrics and training data to track, trend, and manage the impact of training efforts
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience with adult learning instructional design methods and best practices

Nice To Haves

  • PhD, or Master's degree
  • Experience creating and implementing large-scale programs
  • Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
  • Demonstrated proficiency in assessing training effectiveness and ROI to stakeholders and leaders

Responsibilities

  • Define the needs of the business in partnership with HRBPs, business leaders, and peer leadership development leaders
  • Creatively design and deliver leadership development programs for several core Amazon businesses
  • Evaluate current programs for effectiveness and relevancy and develop a roadmap for iteration, deprecation and/or creation of future programs.
  • Raise the bar on our training experiences by measuring the impact and seeking customer feedback to determine areas for improvement
  • Building development experiences with an inclusive, global mindset
