About The Position

The Sr. Product Test Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. With a focus on Guidewire applications the candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans identifying defects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to drive successful project outcomes.

Requirements

Possess strong experience in testing Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter ClaimCenter and BillingCenter.
Demonstrate proficiency in using SOAP WSDL and REST Web Services for testing purposes.
Exhibit expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
Have a solid understanding of Core Java for developing and maintaining test scripts.
Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Claim Assignment domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for Guidewire applications to ensure product quality and reliability.
Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
Execute manual and automated tests using tools like Selenium and Cucumber to validate software functionality.
Identify document and track defects using appropriate tools ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
Develop and maintain test scripts for SOAP WSDL and REST Web Services to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Utilize Core Java skills to enhance test automation frameworks and improve testing efficiency.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to Guidewire applications.
Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in software testing.
