Sr. Product Manager - Practice Experience

Pearly•Atlanta, GA
•$160,000 - $180,000

About The Position

Pearly is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own Practice Experience: the app used by practice teams, its workflows, and the experience from onboarding through daily use. The role serves single-location practices, groups and DSOs, and outsourced billing companies, while building one product that accommodates their differing needs without fragmenting into separate versions. The Senior Product Manager will own the full product lifecycle, from discovery through release, with limited day-to-day direction. The role spans features that reach into Payments, Onboarding, and Integrations, and focuses on improving customer activation, collections, operational workflows, automation, adoption, and commercial outcomes. Success is measured through metrics including new offices landed and billed, time to go live and first collection, pilot conversion and rollout speed, product usage, days sales outstanding, gross payment volume, cost per dollar collected, automated work, and revenue per office. Pearly is a high-growth B2B SaaS and payments company serving more than 3,000 dental offices. The company describes its environment as lean and collaborative, with an emphasis on building from a clean slate and using process, technology, and AI to improve growth and productivity. Compensation is $160,000–$180,000 plus equity and healthcare benefits.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience owning a customer-facing app, workflow, or experience product; ideally at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated outcome-first product track record, including ownership of metrics and the ability to explain decisions and resulting customer and business impact end to end.
  • Experience building workflows for professional users who manage queues of work, at both single-site and enterprise scale.
  • A considered approach to permissions and configurability that avoids fragmenting the product.
  • Experience treating onboarding, activation, and support as product surfaces, and improving adoption of features.
  • Commercial judgment and experience close to sales deals, including the ability to distinguish product gaps that lose deals from features that primarily improve demos.
  • Technical fluency with data models and tradeoffs involving direct real-time integrations and overnight data synchronization.
  • Ability to answer product questions using SQL.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in dental, healthcare, revenue cycle management (RCM), or a similar industry.
  • Background in payments, billing, or consumer checkout experiences.
  • Experience serving multi-location, multi-tenant, or agency-style customers where one organization administers many accounts.
  • Experience building a product surface on top of another organization's models or intelligence layer, with a point of view on safe autonomy and where human involvement is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Practice Experience app, its workflows, onboarding, and daily-use experience for practices, groups, DSOs, and outsourced billing companies.
  • Determine what customer setup should be configured versus defaulted; improve the speed at which customers connect their practice management systems and reach value.
  • Build in-product guidance and experiences that reduce the need for training calls and support.
  • Improve the experience when data synchronization fails or data appears incorrect, and use recurring support volume as a signal for product improvements.
  • Design and improve workflows for finding accounts, understanding balances, prioritizing work, taking action, and trusting the information presented.
  • Make staff work faster where human action is needed, and develop automation and products that remove repetitive work.
  • Define which product behaviors should generalize across operating models, which should be configurable, and which requests should not be built.
  • Conduct discovery with end users and stakeholders accountable for financial outcomes; participate in sales discussions to understand product gaps affecting deals.
  • Own workflow design, evaluate builds before release, and work with Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation to drive adoption.
  • Own product outcomes from discovery through release and diagnose product performance with the analytics PM and Sales.
  • Drive outcomes related to customer acquisition, time to value, office expansion, ROI on existing products, automation, and adoption of new products.
