We are seeking a seasoned product leader with deep expertise in video ad insertion technologies, programmatic advertising, and related technical and compliance standards (e.g., VAST/VMAP, oRTB, Open Measurement, TCF, GPP). The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the advertising ecosystem, a proven ability to influence vision and goals, and a track record of launching complex products within large organizations. Requirements

  • 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
  • Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong domain expertise in video advertising technologies, programmatic ecosystem technologies and related standards (e.g., VAST/VMAP/oRTB/Open Measurement)
  • Broad strategic view of ad-tech trends as well as deep understanding of how the various aspects of the ad-tech ecosystem work together (ad-servers, SSPs, DSPs, Exchanges, DMPs, measurement vendors etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Drive the vision, roadmap, and new feature requirements for Prime Video Ads supply-side technology.
  • Think big to establish a clear and impactful vision, aligning with engineering, business, and other stakeholders on priorities and phased rollouts (crawl/walk/run).
  • Collaborate across multiple internal organizations, teams, and external vendors and industry bodies to stay industry-aware, influence the industry, and remain customer-focused.
  • Align teams to achieve SMART goals to establish and maintain Prime Video as the premier ad-supported streaming service for viewers and advertisers.
  • Write compelling PRFAQs, narratives, BRDs, and vision documents, and influence stakeholders with data and anecdotes.
  • Engage in deep dives and build trust with engineering counterparts while maintaining a strategic perspective.
